As with most things in life, communication is key. It is especially important when you are trying to build good teamwork and foster good team morale. When there is good communication, the best teams will work better together. It will encourage the team to share ideas, work together, get constructive feedback, and be challenged. Not all of the team will agree all of the time but through effective communication, everybody should be able to convey their ideas and point out the positives and flaws of every notion. This may sound a little like high school, but it is a great way to boost morale. Everybody likes to be appreciated and rewarded for their time. It is a known fact that when an employee is happier, they do better work. The best way to ensure happiness is to reward your team. It is that simple. Try offering personal thanks, promotions, bonuses, or extra days off. It will work wonders.
