Labor Union Support

Several labor organizations announced endorsements in competitive congressional races this week. The Michigan Machinists Council, representing more than 2,000 members, endorsed Bridget Brink for the Democratic nomination in Michigan’s 7th Congressional District.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 665 backed Matt Maasdam’s campaign for the same 7th District Democratic nomination, setting up competing labor endorsements in that race.
